Job Description
The AML/BSA Specialist is responsible for fulfilling Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements by identifying and investigating suspicious activity. This role involves analyzing customer KYC profiles, remediating issues, and collaborating with various business lines and authorities.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and investigate suspicious activity to meet AML/BSA requirements.
- Analyze customer KYC profiles and determine appropriate remediation actions.
- Collaborate with business lines to establish procedures for KYC remediation.
- Provide guidance on AML risk ratings and account activity.
- Determine if a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) should be filed with the Federal Government.
- Analyze customer account transactions to detect suspicious activity.
- Develop procedures for identifying and reporting suspicious transactions related to money laundering.
- Work with internal departments, financial institutions, and authorities to gather and analyze necessary information.
salary: $30.52 - $30.53 per hour

Responsibilities
- Responsible for fulfilling the Anti-Money-Laundering/Bank Secrecy Act requirements through identification and investigation of suspicious activity.
- Analyze customer KYC profiles and determine how to remediate and perform the appropriate action to take.
- Work cooperatively with business line to establish procedures for identifying remediation steps specific to KYC
- Provide guidance, support, and recommendations to business lines regarding customer AML risk ratings and account activity.
- Based on the outcome of the investigation, analyze and determine whether or not a Suspicious Activity Report (SARs) must be filed with the Federal Government for any identified suspicious activity.
- Work cooperatively with internal departments, financial institutions, and local, state or federal authorities to obtain and analyze necessary info
