Job Description 2025 Intern Hire
We are seeking a motivated and talented entry-level HR Systems Developer to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support and development expertise across various HR and Legal-related systems. This position is ideal for someone with a strong software development background who is eager to apply their skills in configuring and optimizing multiple HR an Legal technologies.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand and analyze business requirements related to HR and Legal systems.
- Develop and maintain custom configurations, extensions, interfaces, and reports across various systems.
- Assist in the design and implementation of solutions that support efficient HR and Legal processes.
- Provide ongoing support for HR and Legal systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals.
- Participate in the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Develop unit test scripts and support all testing activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Engage with vendors and partners to address system issues and implement improvements.
- Stay current with emerging HR and Legal technologies and suggest enhancements as needed.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on HR and Legal systems or similar enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages and development tools such as PL/SQL, SQL Developer, or similar.
- Familiarity with various HR and Legal-related systems such as Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms, Time and Labor systems, or Payroll systems.
- Basic understanding of software development best practices and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with system integration and API development.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, XML, JSON, and Unix.
- Familiarity with software change management practices and methodologies.
