Bunzl North America is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our corporate team as the Communications & SharePoint Specialist to manage internal communications related to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging and other content related to the Business and team member experiences.

Responsibilities: - Develop an annual corporate communications plan (including DEIB and other business communications)
- Write, design, create and schedule delivery of internal communications (memos, presentations, infographics, fliers, newsletters etc.)
- Foster relationships and work collaboratively across the organization to learn the business and ultimately develop and implement relevant content
- Assist key stakeholders by advising them on effective communication media and formats
- Establish and monitor project timelines to meet deadlines for communication efforts/campaigns and assist with the delivery of collateral materials to support such projects
- Partner with external communications teams to ensure alignment and coordination of internal and external messaging, including social media posts, website updates
- Create various business-related documents such as annual DEIB year-end report, supplier statements, talent summaries, etc.
Requirements: - High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in communications, graphic design, marketing, journalism, English, public relations, or a related area
- 3+ years proven experience as a communications specialist
- Graphic design experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is a plus
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams, a must
- Proven skills in writing, editing, and designing effective communications collateral; attention to detail is key
- Highly motivated individual who proactively seeks out information and actively learns about the business, systems, processes, and the changes being implemented
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple concurrent projects
- Self-starter with proven ability to work independently
- Proficient command of English
Preferred skills - Strong interest and passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Knowledge of web-based tool development and social media a plus.
