Contracts Specialist III, Federal Government - NOAA at IMSolutions, LLC in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Contracts Specialist III, Federal Government - NOAA Remote Full Time #1206 - NOAA: Norfolk EAD 1 open Mid Level Share (IMSolutions is looking for Federal Contracts Specialists to join us at our client the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). In this role, you must possess a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency supplements. These jobs will be fully remote - 100% telework in the U.S. As a Contracts Specialist III , you will have a critical role performing various pre-and post-contract and procurement responsibilities pertaining to the procurement of supplies, services, and equipment, which may include most all functions from cradle to grave in the acquisition life cycle. These functions will include: + Preparing or reviewing pre-procurement packages. + Actively participating in developing and managing acquisition plans. + Preparing/researching support documentation. + Making quality recommendations to the Contracting Officer/Grants Officer. + Handling complex problems through resolution and validating data. + Completing tasks needed to successfully advertise, solicit, construct, award, administer, and/or close out Government contracts or task/delivery orders. To qualify you will have: + 10+ years of experience in planning, awarding, and administering contracts for the procurement of supplies, services, construction, or research and development for the U.S. Federal Government. + Bachelor's degree or at least 24 credit hours in business or a business-related field. + Expert knowledge of the federal acquisition life cycle, including pre-solicitation, solicitation, award, contract administration, and closeout. (cradle-to-grave contracting) + Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to conduct contract work. + Experience in preparation of the Government's Business Clearance/Pre-and Post-Negotiation position for formal contract procedures. + Experience leading the negotiation team as the principal contract negotiator and negotiating contract equitable adjustments; etc. + Negotiation preparation - preparation of contract modifications, development of evaluation criteria, evaluation of contract performance, contract termination, and contract closeouts. + Market research/analysis, selection and administration of contract terms and conditions, cost, and price analysis. + U.S. Citizenship o To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
