The Work As a Senior Circuit Board Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing complex circuit board designs according to customer specifications. Your responsibilities will include:
•Collaborating with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
•Conducting component selection based on performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
•Performing high-speed signal integrity analysis to ensure precise timing and mitigate EMI impacts.
•Developing power profiles and selecting onboard power regulation and distribution systems to meet the circuit's power requirements.
•Specifying PCB stack-up criteria to optimize signal integrity and thermal management.
•Overseeing layout and routing activities to ensure adherence to design guidelines and standards.
•Creating and executing validation and integration plans to verify the performance and functionality of the circuit board designs.

Who You Are We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who possesses:
•A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
•Extensive experience in circuit board design, including complex designs and high-speed signal integrity analysis.
•Proficiency with tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Mentor Graphics PADS.
•Strong knowledge of component selection, power distribution, and PCB stack-up design.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Basic Qualifications •BS Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or other engineering discipline.
•Experience with current PCB design tools such as Zuken, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, etc.
•Familiarity with FPGAs, processors, high speed memories and power regulation solutions.
•Ability to perform in-depth analysis of timing performance and power consumption.
•Strong troubleshooting skills.
•Ability to work within an Integrated Product Team environment.
•Qualified candidates must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. This requires U.S. Citizenship.
Desired skills •VHDL, verilog or other high level language.
•Familiarity with linear circuits and other analog discretes.
•Circuit simulation and signal integrity analysis modeling.
•C/C++, scripting languages, LabVIEW.

Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $115,500 - $217,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
