The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The Guest Service Associate is responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner and assisting guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage (where applicable) during arrival and departure. Essential functions include maintaining a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers, greeting guests within five feet, using guest last names, practicing proper phone etiquette, parking and retrieving vehicles cautiously, assisting guests with bell services and luggage storage, opening vehicle and hotel doors, assisting guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries, providing information about the facility and local attractions, delivering messages and guest amenities, shuttling guests to approved locations, explaining parking rates and retrieval procedures, issuing and collecting claim checks, maintaining ticket information including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipts, and calculating and collecting revenue when needed. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, one month of related experience or equivalent education and experience, knowledge of customer service principles, and various skills including reading, writing, basic math, and the ability to operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking. The job involves physical demands such as talking, hearing, sitting, standing, running, walking, handling objects, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally. The work environment is mostly outdoors with exposure to extreme weather conditions. Travel up to 5% may be required.
