This entry level position will report to our new corporate office located at 1800 Innovation Point, Fort Mill, SC Monday through Thursday and may have flexibility to work from home on Friday unless needed to attend a remote or in-house photo shoot. We are looking for a creative person with initiative that doesn't mind driving and working outdoors to coordinate fashion shoots and obtain products from store locations.
Summary: The Marketing Coordinator/Photo Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting the creative team activities primarily across photo shoots, styling, and sample coordination. The ideal candidate will be an analytical, creative, well-organized multitasker that thrives on learning and process improvement, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Visual, Store Operations and other Marketing and Ecommerce teams.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities: The Marketing Coordinator/ Photo Production Coordinator role:
- Assists the creative marketing team to coordinate photo shoots, styling, and sample coordination with the category, brand and customer in mind.
- Partners with merchandising, visual, operations, and e-commerce teams to gather information and direction on product and collection strategies.
- Obtains and manages product samples for photo shoots.
- Coordinates day-to-day activities to include tracking samples, model selection, sourcing photo shoot locations, and scheduling featured products and specific details of photo shoot.
- Builds and maintains various content and media calendars.
- Assists in managing budget for photo samples using excel spreadsheets.
- Analyzes marketing effectiveness for various photo shoot campaigns by tracking, measuring, & reporting on KPIs and benchmarks, including number of usable shots and event successes and opportunities.
- Assists Creative Director and Sr. Manager, Creative with various projects.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with strong proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with professionals at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment with both internal stakeholders and outside agencies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines, and shift focus between projects / tasks, with strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and make conclusions / recommendations.
- Ability to successfully complete an annual motor vehicle record check and acknowledge Shoe Carnival's Driver Safety policy. Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift and carry products up to 25 pounds occasionally.
