Job Description General Description The Training Manager is responsible for managing organizational development activities, change initiatives, and projects, including consulting, in support of the business, including changes to processes, systems, structure, and culture.
Specific Duties •Follow all applicable environmental, health, and safety rules and procedures and immediately report all dangerous situations, near-misses, and injuries.
•Implements organizational design initiatives and training curriculum, fostering the development of organizational capabilities and systems needed to support the execution of the business strategy.
•Partners with senior leaders, teams, finance, human resources, and operations to ensure integration of organizational development projects with other core organizational and talent programs, curriculum, and concepts such as succession planning, performance management, and competencies.
•Conducts organizational assessments and diagnostics for the team using defined methodologies to identify critical issues and root causes; implements appropriate solutions to improve individual and team effectiveness.
•Partners with the Vice President of Operations and Human Resources team to ensure operational training effectiveness to support the business.
•Demonstrates exceptional project management skills, creates project plans, manages project implementation, creates teams, provides thought leadership, engages with stakeholders to gather and share data, and mobilizes teams to implement initiatives.
•Designs new class curriculum as needed based on company needs, industry trends, legal updates, tools, processes, and technologies, as well as input from company leaders.
•Design and deliver learning solutions per adult-learning principles, as identified through programs, roadmaps, and priorities. Training offerings will be delivered via multiple methodologies (live in-classroom, live virtual presence, and Oracle Learning Management System) and must be proficient in all those methods.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office and manufacturing plant environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Required Experience - Three to five years of training experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be fully bilingual, with the ability to speak, read, write, and translate documents (English / Spanish)
Preferred Education - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential.
Protective Equipment - Safety Glasses conforming to ANSI Z87.1 or higher (required to enter Mfg. area)
- Safety Shoes conforming to ASTM F2413-05 PT Class 75 Protective Toe
- Ear Protection (Noise Reduction Rating 33 dB - as needed)
