The Wine Server plays a pivotal role in delivering a distinguished, high-end hospitality experience that is deeply rooted in extensive wine knowledge, ensuring that every guest departs with a deep appreciation for our wines.

Primary Job Duties include:

Exemplary Guest Service

• Collaborate closely with our dedicated team of wine enthusiasts, fostering a culture anchored in knowledge sharing and mutual respect.
• Uphold and elevate the standards of Pali Wine Co., perpetually seeking innovative ways to enhance the guest experience.
• Kickstart tastings, guiding guests through intricate details about our selection, spanning from flavor profiles to the nuanced histories of their origins.
• Leverage a profound understanding of our wines to propel sales, tailoring recommendations to align with the individual preferences and palates of guests.

Promotion of Wine Club and Membership Management

• Be an advocate for our exclusive wine club memberships with authentic enthusiasm, spotlighting the unique offerings and benefits available.
• Provide concierge-level customer service to wine club members, ensuring they consistently feel esteemed, recognized, and valued throughout every interaction.

Additional Responsibilities include:

• Accurately manage routine POS transactions and adeptly handle opening/closing cash register procedures.
• Assist in orchestrating Outpost and Wine Club events to deliver seamless and memorable experiences.
• Uphold meticulous cleaning practices to maintain a polished and inviting environment.
• Collaborate effectively with teammates, ensuring smooth daily operations and adhering to established policies and procedures.
• Proactively respond to guest requests and complete any tasks or projects delegated by management with initiative and precision

Salary Range: $16.00/hr + Tips

Requirements:

• A background in wine, showcasing tangible expertise and a palpable enthusiasm for the subject.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Willingness and availability to work during peak times, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, and adaptability to a finely-tuned service schedule.
• Ability to lift, carry, or transport items up to 40 pounds (roughly equivalent to a case of wine).
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for providing excellent service to a sophisticated and discerning clientele.
